This is a canon scene from Wonder Game - Infinite chapter 8. Ibara was about to leave the student council room when Yuzuru stopped him and for the first time, dropped the belligerent act and told his "beloved pupil" that 'he will always be there for him' and urged Ibara to 'depend on him, if he ever feels the need'. Up until this scene, Yuzuru and Ibara had only ever been hostile towards each other. Despite that, I always believed they actually cared for each other. This was the first scene that validated my interpretation of Yuzubara. Years later (in SS Finale - Laurels), Yuzuru's wish comes true and Ibara "looks at him with eyes pleading for help". In the same story, Ibara returns Yuzuru's feelings and makes it clear that he also wants Yuzuru to be safe and thrive. This is such an important scene for me that I have actual line Yuzuru says here engraved into the iPad I used to draw this frame.
