Even after he has already managed to agree with Yuzuru wholeheartedly in SS, months later in Last Mission, Ibara claims that mutual understanding is impossible, not just for him personally but for people in general. I like this cognitive dissonance of his very much and imagine that the day he gets over it and truly accepts the deep sympathy he shares with Yuzuru, it will be a cathartic moment for him. I enjoyed depicting that here, during a rather mundane moment in their lives...
