Today marks the opening (read: being shared on social media) of this website 🥳 If you came here from The Tweet feel free to @ me if you find any broken links & I hope you have a Yuzubaramazing time browsing what the Citrusfields have to offer~♡
I have been working on this site on and off since the November of last year, which means overall it took a little over 10 months to complete. It was initially an idea I had after seeing a tweet encouraging people to make their own website just for the fun of it but shortly after I started working on this website, Twitter started to go to shit for real. Since Twitter has always been my main 'page' for my Yuzubara endeavours, so to speak, I felt like I had to create an alternative immediately. While I was at it, I thought I might as well make it as customised to my needs as possible.
The overall layout of this website is heavily inspired by the menus of the Enst!! app itself: the gallery page is modelled after the card album and the home page is as faithful of a recreation of the News screen as I could manage. It's not at all responsive but I wanted to prioritise control over adaptability. It should be decently browsable on desktop and tablets but I make no promises for phone screens. Additionally, I tried to keep it as static as possible. There are a few hover effects but they're mostly for easter eggs and bonus/joke drawings. Anything I consider a 'full piece' got its own static page.
I will still continue to upload my drawings on Twitter and Pixiv but I don't have much hope that Twitter particularly will last long and although there are alternatives popping up, the Enst fandom is unlikely to see an exodus as long as Enst official is maining Twitter for announcements. Either way, I think it's valuable to have this page as an archive that operates solely on my terms. Perhaps in the future I will even host it myself.
Anyway if you read this long ily♡ I'm trying to find my past livejournal self inside me and strive to type something longer than a tweet and soon I will have proper blog posts on here too. Even if no one reads them I know future me will. If you're reading this in 2033 ily too♡
